Northwest Girls Defeat Lakeview, 60-33

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest girls basketball team defeated Columbus Lakeview on Tuesday night, 60-33, in a quarter-final matchup in the Central Conference basketball tournament. 

Lakeview slips to 5-11 on the season. Northwest is now 8-7. The Vikings lost at Lakeview earlier this season on Jan. 9th, 44-33. 

Northwest now advances to the conference semi-finals on Friday at 7:00 pm vs York at York High School. Listen to the matchup live on 103.1 FM & 2dayfm1031.com. York defeated Seward on Tuesday night 35-26.
