Mike Becker Retires from GIFD

Mike Becker celebrated his retirement with the Grand Island Fire Department on Friday. Becker completed 23 years of service to the day. Chief Cory Schmidt presented Becker with a plaque at Fire Station #4. Hear his complete comments below.

From the City of GI Facebook, "Over the past 23 years, Mike has served the community with honor and professionalism and will be greatly missed. He has been especially instrumental in ensuring our hazardous materials team is trained and ready to respond. In addition to his duties with the GIFD, Mike is also the Fire Chief with the St. Paul Fire Department.
