Lakeview Stings Northwest Boys, 65-58

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest boys would fall at home in a quarter-final affair on Tuesday night to Lakeview, 65-58. The Vikings would find themselves in an early hole with less than three minutes to play in the 2nd quarter, down 28-13. The Vikings would cut the deficit to nine at the halftime break, 30-21. 

Northwest would start chipping away at the Lakeview lead in the second half. With 3:02 left in the 3rd quarter, the Vikings were down 41-35. Northwest would trail by three with less than four minutes left in the game, but that would be as close as the Vikings would get. 

Northwest, with the loss, drops to 9-6 on the season. Lakeview is now 9-8 and moving on to the Central Conference semi-finals on Thursday.
