Greg Hake Receives Northwest Distinguished Alumni Award

The Northwest Education Foundation proudly announces Gregory W. Hake as the recipient of the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award, honoring his exceptional leadership, service, and professional achievements following graduation from Northwest High School in 1995.

Hake is a decorated U.S. Navy SEAL veteran who served 22 years in Naval Special Warfare, including multiple combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terror. Throughout his military career, he held key leadership roles directing elite teams in complex global operations and training environments and earned numerous honors for his service and valor.

After retiring from the Navy in 2019, Hake continued his commitment to leadership and service through higher education and professional advancement. He earned his Executive MBA from the University of Southern California and transitioned into corporate leadership. He served as Director of Corporate Operations at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals and currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Operations at a leading mortgage brokerage company.

Hake is also the founder of Fatal Flaw, a consulting firm focused on leadership development and organizational transformation. Drawing on more than two decades of elite military experience, he helps individuals and organizations build resilience, embrace change, and lead with integrity.

From military service to corporate leadership and mentorship, Hake has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, service, and personal growth. His achievements reflect the values of dedication, perseverance, and leadership that Northwest High School strives to instill in every student. Hake resides in Southern California and is the proud father of four.

Hake will receive his award at the 2nd Annual Black and Gold Banquet at the Platt Duetsche on March 21.
