Crusader Basketball Teams Hit The Road Friday

(Columbus, NE) - The Central Catholic basketball teams will hit the road on Friday, December 12th, traveling to Columbus to take on the Scotus Shamrocks. 

The GICC girls are in search of their first win of the season after falling to 0-3 on the season on Tuesday night, dropping a game at St. Paul, 40-37. The Scotus girls are 1-1 on the season with a win vs St Cecilia, 45-33 last week, and dropping a game Tuesday night vs Guardian Angels, 47-43. 

The GICC boys are 1-1 on the season after splitting a pair of games at home last week. Central would fall to Omaha Gross last Thursday, 55-42. The Saders would bounce back on Saturday and defeat Norfolk Catholic, 44-39. Columbus Scotus comes into the matchup with a 1-0 record. The Shamrocks opened up the season last Thursday with a win at St Cecilia, 50-32. 

The girls matchup on Friday night will have a tip off time at 6:00 pm, with the boys' game to follow at 7:30 pm. Listen live on KRGI 1430 AM/105.5 FM & krgi.com.
