York downs Aurora in B-6 girls semifinal

A late site and time change had little effect in the outcome of the B-6 sub-district semifinal on Monday. Scoreboard issues at York High School forced the game to be moved to York University an hour later. Top seed York lead from the beginning in a 59-44 win over Aurora.
After York jumped to a 9-2 lead, Aurora got to within three twice in the second quarter. But the Dukes extended the lead to 13 at the half. The Huskies never got closer.
The physical matchup saw over 30 fouls called and over 50 free throws attempted.
Hannah Janda and Adi Fahrnbruch played in their final game for the Huskies. Hailey Hoff led Aurora with 16.
