Wound Care Provider Scheer Joins St. Francis

Grand Island — CHI Health Advanced Wound Care (St. Francis) is pleased to announce the addition of Megan Scheer, APRN, to its staff. 

Wound care providers, like Scheer, specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment and management of complex wounds to prevent infection and promote healing. They develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methods including debridement, grafts, dressings and other therapies, facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and offer patient education.

Scheer earned a Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Kearney, Nebraska; and a Master’s Level Certification-Certified Wound Care Nurse from Web WOC in Minneapolis.

Scheer joins wound care providers Suellen Bruguera, APRN, and Lacey Heikes, APRN. Their practice, located at 2620 W. Faidley Ave., is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
