Winter Weather Threat Area Expanded

The National Weather Service in Hastings upgraded the northern areas to a Winter Storm Warning to align with neighboring NWS offices (North Platte and Omaha/Valley). A combo of snow and wind from mid-afternoon through the evening was the primary reason. 

Note: This system will have a very sharp southern edge near I-80 as dry air in the lower atmosphere limits precipitation. For example, the edge could lay across a county with 2-3" type snow amount differences from south-to-north.
