Wildcat Tracksters run successful day at C-7 Districts

It was the C-7 District track Tournament taking place for area track and field teams trying to punch their  ticket to Omaha's Burke Stadium for State Track May 21st-24th.

The Cats are sending 15 athletes to Omaha next week as the Girls took a runner up finish qualifying 9 athletes, the Boys took 4th place sending 6 total athletes.

Qualifying for the Girls were

100m - Piepyr Klinginsmith 2nd Place 12.79

200m - Katie Oakley 2nd Place 26.93

400m - Kamden Sack 3rd Place 1:00.31

100m Hurdles - Zaya Lewis 1st Place 14.86, Kyndel Sack 3rd Place 15.79

300m Hurdles - Zaya Lewis 1st Place 46.56, Kyndel Sack 4th Place 48.71

4x100 Relay - Kyndel Sack, Zaya Lewis, Piepyr Klinginsmith, Katie Oakley 1st Place 50.91

4x400 Relay - Kamden Sack, Charlee Wegner, Zaya Lewis, Katie Oakley 1st Place 4:11.77
