Trooper Locates Methamphetamine and Cocaine During Traffic Stop

OCTOBER 24, 2025 (NORTH PLATTE, NEB.)   —   Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) locates methamphetamine and cocaine during a traffic stop in western Nebraska.

At approximately 7:45 a.m. this morning, a trooper observed a red Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 fail to maintain its lane near mile marker 134. During the stop, the trooper observed a THC vape pen in plain view.

Troopers searched the vehicle and located a vacuum sealed bag containing 1 pound of suspected methamphetamine wrapped in cellophane. Troopers also located a small amount of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a TCH pen.

The driver, Eric Anderson, 43, of Arvada, Colorado, was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, no drug tax stamp, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in Keith County Jail.
