Third City Community Clinic hosted a special celebration on Thursday, featuring the premiere of a new documentary chronicling the clinic’s history, followed by a ribbon cutting and open house to showcase the clinic’s newly remodeled facilities.
The event began at B & B Theaters at Conestoga Marketplace with a screening of the documentary, The Story of Third City Community Clinic, produced by Krecklow Films.
After the ribbon cutting at the clinic, located at 1107 N. Broadwell Avenue, people had a chance to tour the facility.
“We are thrilled to share both our story and our brand-new space with the community,” said Misty Schaecher, Executive Director of Third City Community Clinic. “This remodel represents our continued commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care for those who need it most.”
Third City Community Clinic is a free and charitable health clinic dedicated to serving uninsured and low-income individuals in the Grand Island area. The clinic offers medical, dental, pharmaceutical, food pantry, and community garden services—all at no cost to patients.
