Sodbusters Win Again
Make it three straight for the Hastings Sodbusters. Hastings broke up a pitchers duel with a six run sixth on the way to a 7-3 win over the Nebraska Prospects. The first five reached and scored that frame as Hastings sent 12 to the plate. Ryan Jarvis' RBI Single broke the tie. Sawyer Duddleston reached base five times. He went 2-2, doubled twice, knocked in one and scored one. Josh Prinner and Jack Borgmann each had two hits. Jack Kruger worked six innings, allowing one run on one hit while striking out eight. After the Prospects scored two in the 9th, Creighton Jacobitz, the Adams Central grad, picked up the save. Same two teams play at 6:35 Sunday. Hear the post game from Joel Schipper.
