Six KHS Students Selected for Emerging Visions Art Exhibition at Hastings College

Six talented Kearney High School art students have been selected to participate in the inaugural Emerging Visions juried art exhibition at Hastings College. Their creative works will be showcased at the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center Gallery from November 14 through December 13, 2025.

The Emerging Visions exhibition celebrates the creativity and artistic vision of high school students across the region. The event provides young artists the opportunity to display their work in a professional gallery setting and compete for scholarship awards.

Gallery Hours:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
(Closed November 24–28 for Thanksgiving Break)
A closing reception will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 2:00–4:00 PM, with awards announced at 3:00 PM.

Ella Kozera – Morph, Billy Bass

In addition, several KHS students who submitted work, but were not selected for the exhibition, received individual scholarships ranging from $9,000 to $11,000 for their artistic promise:

The exhibition underscores the strength of Kearney Public Schools’ fine arts program and its commitment to nurturing student artists who express their ideas with creativity, passion, and purpose.
