Red Flag Warning Issued

Key Message #1: A Red Flag Warning will be in effect from 11AM to 9PM today for portions of south central Nebraska. All counties that were in the Fire Weather Watch are now included in the warning. Merrick and Nance counties were also added to the warning.
Key Message #2: Unseasonably warm conditions continue this week, with temperatures making it into the 80s and 90s a few days. Near-critical to critical fire weather conditions remain possible through at least Thursday.
Key Message #3: There is a small chance of a few isolated showers and thunderstorms across south central Nebraska and north central Kansas on Wednesday.
