Ray Signs With Washburn Track & Field

(Grand Island, NE) - On Tuesday afternoon Northwest senior Kyra Ray signed with Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas to compete in track & field. This spring for the Vikings track team Ray plans to participate in the 4x1, 100, pole vault, and long jump.

While also at Northwest, Ray was on the Viking softball team and played a key role in the 2023 and 2024 state championship teams. Below listen to an interview with Kyra after she signed Tuesday.
