Northwest Boys Soccer Season Comes To An End

(Hastings, NE) - Coming off a B7 semi-final win on Monday night, defeating Kearney Catholic 3-1, the Northwest Viking boys soccer team would see their season come to an end on Tuesday night, falling to the Hastings Tigers, 1-0.
The two teams would be scoreless going into the halftime break. The Tigers would just need one second-half goal to get their 16th win of the season. The Northwest season comes to an end with a record of 4-11.
Hastings at 16-1 advances to a district final on Saturday as the Tigers are now one win away from the state tournament. The Tigers are looking for their first state appearance since 2006.
