Northwest Boys Down Hastings, 63-54

(Aurora, NE) - The Northwest boys' basketball team downed the Hastings Tigers on Thursday night 63-54 in the Class B Sub-District 7 semi-finals. The Vikings avenged a home loss earlier in the season to Hastings on February 4th as the Tigers claimed a 20-point win, 64-44. 

Northwest is now 16-8 on the season and will now take on 21-3 Aurora, who defeated York in the first B7 sub-district semi-final 63-42. The matchup with the Vikings and the Huskies will be the third matchup this year. Aurora would claim the regular season game at home 53-46 on December 21st. Then the two would matchup in the Central Conference semi-finals at Adams Central were the Huskies would win 52-42 on January 31st.
