Northwest Basketball Defeats Broken Bow To Open 2025

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest basketball teams would start the new year each with a win on Friday, January 3rd taking on Broken Bow. The girls would defeat the Indians 44-39. The Northwest boys would defeat Broken Bow 69-42. 

The Viking girl's game at Ogallala on Saturday, Jan. 4th was canceled due to the winter weather. Northwest is now 6-3.  The Vikings boys are now 5-4. 

Both teams will be back in action at home next week on Friday, Jan. 10th vs Lakeview. Then on Saturday, Jan. 11th vs York (Live On 103.1 FM).
