Learn All About Cooking for One or Two at the Library

Grand Island, Neb. — With serving sizes designed to feed families, it’s usually easier to cook for a larger group that it is for just one or two people, which makes preparing a meal for a more intimate setting a daunting task.

That’s why it’s an art to plan recipes or use ingredients without wasting food or seeing some of your favorite dishes expire. Cami Wells is a food, nutrition and health educator from the Hall County Extension Office and will offer some tips, tricks and recipes for a few instead of many.
Join us Monday, June 17 at 6 p.m. in Meeting Room BC at the Grand Island Public Library for an experience that is sure to make cooking at home a whole lot easier for you!

The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property anywhere within Hall County may apply for a library card at no cost.
