Key Named to Senior Bowl Top 300 List

Nebraska’s Dane Key was honored Wednesday morning, as he was named to the 2026 Senior Bowl Top 300 list.
The list, which includes only draft eligible players, was chosen from evaluations by the Senior Bowl Scouting Department from a list of over 2,000 draft eligible prospects.
Key, a senior wide receiver, spent the past three seasons at Kentucky, where he totaled 126 receptions for 1,870 yards and 14 touchdowns. He finished his Wildcat career ranked fifth in school history in receptions and 13th in receiving yards.
Last season, Key made 11 starts, hauling in a career-high 47 catches for 715 yards and two TDs. He had two 100-yard games last season, including seven catches for a career-high 145 yards against Ohio and a personal-best eight catches for 105 yards in a win over then No. 14 Ole Miss. He also had eight catches against Vanderbilt.
The Huskers open the 2025 season on Thursday, Aug. 28, as they take on Cincinnati at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN and the Huskers Radio Network.
