Huskers Set Pack PBA for Illinois Jan. 24

Lincoln - The Nebraska women's basketball team plans to Pack PBA on Saturday, Jan. 24, when the Huskers play host to Illinois.
Tip-off between the Big Red and the Fighting Illini is set for 1 p.m., and the Husker staff will be working behind the scenes to produce a big-game atmosphere around the action on the floor between a pair of 2025 NCAA Tournament teams.
Nebraska split a pair of games with Illinois a year ago, eliminating the Illini from the conference tournament in Indianapolis (74-70) on March 6, after Illinois rallied for a win over the Huskers in Champaign (77-68, Feb. 16).
Last season, Nebraska attracted nearly 10,000 fans for a Pack PBA showdown with No. 12 Ohio State, after drawing a school-record 15,042 to Pinnacle Bank Arena for an 82-79 win over No. 2 Iowa (Feb. 11, 2024).
Nebraska women's basketball has ranked among the top 25 teams nationally in home attendance for 15 consecutive years, including a No. 16 ranking a year ago with more than 5,600 fans per game at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Husker fans can purchase women's basketball season tickets and Starting 5 Mini-Plan tickets right now through the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at Huskers.com. Single-game tickets for Nebraska women's basketball are set to go on sale on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
