Heat Advisory Again Today

Heat index values of 100 to 108 degrees expected across the local area this afternoon.

Areas along/east of Highway 281 will have the best potential for heat index values near/over 105 degrees, and a Heat Advisory remains in effect for that area from noon-8PM Saturday.

Heat index values near 100 degrees will continue across at least parts of the local area both Sunday and Monday.
