Heartland United Way Board of Directors elects new members, officers

Five new members were elected to the Heartland United Way Board of Directors Thursday during the HUW Campaign Celebration and Annual Meeting. Natalia Del Cid, Mirta Delgado, Jeremy Gillam, Brent Grummert, and Kevin Ottman will serve for a term of four years. Board members may serve two terms.

Natalia Del Cid
Senior Operations Manager, Associated Staffing
Natalia joined Associated Staffing Inc. in 1998 as a receptionist and steadily advanced within the company, becoming a Recruiter in 2005 and earning her current role as Senior Operations Manager in 2017. She excels at customer service and knows everyone by name!
Dedicated to her community, Natalia actively volunteers in numerous capacities. She is a Chamber Connector, Edge Mentor, has served the Habitat for Humanity on the Homebuyer Selection Committee, and proudly serves as Treasurer and Secretary at her church. A graduate of Leadership Tomorrow Class 33, Natalia lives in Grand Island with her husband and son. Her commitment to both her professional growth and community involvement continues to make a lasting impact.
Mirta Delgado
AVP/Branch Manager/Loan Officer at Five Points Bank
Mirta has been with Five Points Bank for 23 years. Originally from Guatemala, Mirta moved to Grand Island in 1994. Delgado attended Bellevue University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Leadership and Management.
As an Immigrant Latino woman, she has always had a passion for helping others, which has motivated her both personally and professionally. Over the years, her primary objective has been to cultivate strong relationships with business owners and consumers. She firmly believes that customers are the foundation of our community, and she is deeply honored to have the privilege of supporting and assisting them.
Mirta currently serves as a board member for Third-City Community Clinic. She is also a community volunteer with MCDES Soccer Club and Junior Achievement and other non-profit organizations. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jeremy Gillam
Amur SVP, Head of Technology
As Head of Technology at Amur Equipment Finance, Jeremy leads transformative initiatives that enhance efficiency, optimize decision-making, and drive sustainable growth. With deep expertise in data strategy, process optimization, and sector-specific financing, he designs and implements innovative solutions that elevate business performance and customer experience.
A proven change agent, he thrives on tackling complex challenges, fostering collaboration, and motivating teams to deliver high-impactresults. His leadership focuses on turning strategic goals into actionable priorities, strengthening cross-functional alignment, and driving innovation. Beyond technology, he plays a critical role in shaping Amur’s roadmap, ensuring seamless integration across operations, finance, and customer success. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, upland bird hunting, and fishing. He and his wife, Angela, along with their two chocolate labs, love hitting the road for spontaneous road trips, embracing unplanned adventures wherever the road takes them.
Brent Grummert
Hy-Vee Manager
Originally from Shenandoah, Iowa, Brent graduated from Shenandoah High School before earning a BS Business Management and Marketing at Northwest Missouri State University.
Brent has worked for Hy-Vee and only Hy-Vee. He started when he was 15 years old in Shenandoah, Iowa, as a bottle clerk and worked various positions throughout high school and college. After college Brent was accepted into Hy-Vee’s college training program. In April of 2013, he accepted my first store director position in Macomb, Illinois, until July of 2016, when he accepted the same position in Grand Island.
Brent has two kids - a 20-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter. His wife is a substitute teacher at Grand Island Public Schools. In Brent’s free time he enjoys sporting events, travel, wood working, target practice, and spending time with his family.
Kevin Ottman
Home Federal Bank, Vice President
Kevin Ottman is a Vice President at Home Federal Bank, where he oversees Mortgage and Consumer Lending. He is a current member and former board member of the Nebraska Mortgage Association. Kevin also serves on the Central Community College Business Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of Leadership Unlimited Class 34 and is a member of the Central Nebraska Homebuilder’s Association and the Grand Island Board of Realtors. Additionally, Kevin has volunteered with Junior Achievement and Boy Scouts Troop 14. He and his wife, Kim, have three children, all attending colleges in Nebraska.
