Grand Island YMCA Set To Host Hog Wild Fundraiser

(Grand Island, NE) - Hog Wild for the Y is an annual fundraiser for the Grand Island YMCA. This supports our annual campaign to raise money for scholarships for those who would benefit from the Y, but can’t afford a membership.

“Taco ‘bout a party!” This event will be held Friday, March 21, 6 to 9 pm at the Tom Dinsdale BARN BAR on the Fonner Park Complex. The evening will include delicious food, live entertainment, raffles, as well as silent and unique live auction items. Food will be provided by Nebraska Pork Producers and Whitefoot Catering.

Our 2025 goal is to provide over $130,000 in scholarships to individuals and families. We offer scholarships of 25%, 45%, and 65%. We also support our local Big Brother Big Sisters kids with free memberships as well as discounts for military veterans, first responders, and clergy. Our corporate discount to local businesses allows more members of our community to take advantage of all the ways the Y can help strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
