GICC SB Falls to Crete

In a crisply played game in Doniphan, Crete edged the Crusader softball team 2-1 on Tuesday.  The Cardinals plated an unearned run in the fourth and put up an insurance run in the seventh. GICC  scored an unearned run in the seventh and had the tying run aboard when the game ended. Madynn Dunham outdueled Logan Rainforth. The Crete Freshman tossed a two-hitter. Rainforth allowed only five hits. GICC will be at Twin River Thursday.
