Offense: Domestic Assault
Victim: 45 yr old female Incident #: L25011453
Offender: Helton Onasys Amador Vasquez

Location of Incident: 1114 N Wheeler Ave
Brief Narrative: On 01/17/2024 at 2253 hrs, Officers were dispatched to 1114 N Wheeler Ave, for a reported disturbance call for service. Victim reported that Helton Onasys Amador Vasquez had assaulted her. Victim reported being married to Helton for eight years and have a child in common. During the incident Helton threaten the victim that he would kill her. A juvenile was also on scene of the incident and reported the same events that took place. The juvenile also reported that Helton threatened to run the juvenile over with a vehicle during the incident. Victims reported being in fear after Helton threaten to harm them. Helton was arrested for DV Assault-3rd/Cause Bodily Injury, Terroristic Threats x2 counts and Negligent Child Abuse.

Offender: Stephanie Amador
Date and Time of Incident: 1/17/25 @ 19:30
Location of Incident: 308 ½ W 11th St
Brief Narrative: On 01/18/2025 around 0008 hours Officers responded to 308 ½ West 11th in reference to a suspicious call for service. Upon investigation Officers discovered the home had been entered and things of value taken. Stephanie Amador was arrested for Burglary.

Location of Incident: 833 N Alpha St
Brief Narrative: Officers along with the Grand Island Fire Department responded to 833 Alpha Street, Country House Assisted Living, for a report of an out-of-control patient. It was determined that the patient struck a healthcare professional in the face causing injury. Due to the victim not wishing to pursue criminal charges, the male offender was transported to Saint Francis Medical Center for medical treatment.

Location of Incident: S Locust St & W Hwy 34
Brief Narrative: On 01/18/2025, a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee was reportedly driving in excess of 100 mph along S Locust St. The vehicle was observed and radar locked traveling 87 mph northbound on S Locust St. The vehicle drove without headlights along Hwy 34 at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located traveling westbound on Stagecoach Rd where overhead lights were activated for an attempted traffic stop. The vehicle drove around the patrol car, nearly struck the side of the car, and proceeded to drive away from the area at a high rate of speed as it was last observed traveling westbound on Hwy 34. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: On 01/17/2024 at 1806 hrs, Officer responded to 2403 5th St W for a reported theft call for service. Victim reported their back door was found to be unlock and several items stolen from their house. The overall worth of the items were $535. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 1404 W 1st
Brief Narrative: On 01/17/2025 around 1851 hours Officers responded to 1404 West 1st St in reference to a juvenile problem. The reporting party advised her juvenile son had run away from home and taken her vehicle without her consent. Case is open.

Victim: 35 yr old female, 8 yr old male Incident #: L25011473
Offender: Sayid Ali Mohamed
Date and Time of Incident: 1/18/25 @ 07:30
Location of Incident: 1307 S Eddy St
Brief Narrative: An adult female contacted Police to report her 8 year son was intentionally shoved into a table causing pain to his right side. Mother defended her child and was struck several times in the head and had her hair pulled. Mother had redness on her right cheek and an abrasion on the left side of her nose. Suspect fled scene. Video evidence later determined a potential suspect who is known to be homeless and has not been located yet. Sayid Ali Mohamed was later arrested for Intentional Child Abuse No injury and 3rd Degree Assault.

Victim: 49 yr old male Incident #: L25011475
Date and Time of Incident: between 1/17/25 & 1/18/25
Location of Incident: 1005 St Paul Rd; Apt A
Brief Narrative: On 01/18/2025 at approximately 0826 hours, Officers responded to 1005 Saint Paul Rd. Apt. A in reference to a report of a Vehicle Theft. Officers responded and made contact with the owner of the vehicle. The stolen vehicle was valued at $4,000.00. Case is open.

Offender: Lacey Chelewski
Date and Time of Incident: 1/20/25 @ 22:54
Location of Incident: 2511 N Diers Ave
Brief Narrative: Officers contacted Lacey Chelewski in a running vehicle at Pump & Pantry, 2511 N Diers Ave. Chelewski showed signs of drug impairment and had a baggie of suspected cocaine on her person. Chelewski was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and DUI-Drugs.

Offense: Attempted Burglary
Victim: 24 yr old female Incident #: L25011649
Date and Time of Incident: 1/20/25 @ 08:00
Location of Incident: 2004 N Wheeler, Apt 6A
Brief Narrative: A female reported an attempted burglary to her residence. She stated someone must have used something to open her door because there was visible damage to the door, and it was wide open when she went back downstairs. Nothing was taken from her residence, but the damage to the door cost $50.
