Offense: Drugs

Offender: Corbin Hulit Canfield

Location of Incident: W State St & N Webb Rd
Brief Narrative: On 06/08/2024 around 2044 hrs, an officer observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit northbound on Webb Rd in the area 16th St. The vehicle was passing other vehicles and captured on radar traveling 62 MPH in a posted 35 MPH zone. A traffic stop was initiated at Webb Rd and State St. Corbin Hulit Canfield was contacted as the driver of the vehicle and confirmed to be 18 years old. While issuing the speeding citation to Corbin, a vape pen was located in the driver's compartment of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted. Multiple THC vape pens were located along with unopened alcoholic beverage containers with an open alcoholic container. Concealed in the vehicle was a white powdery substance. The substance later presumptively tested positive for cocaine. Corbin was placed under arrest and transported to HCDC. Corbin was booked into HCDC for Possession of Controlled Substance (Schedule II), Possession of Marijuana< 1oz, Speeding 21-35 Over, MIP- Alcohol, and Open Alcoholic Container.

Brief Narrative: An adult male reported that he's being extorted by an unknown person. The suspect threatened to disseminate an explicit video of the victim over social media if he refuses to pay her $5,000.00. Case is open

Victim: A List Fashion Boutique Incident #: L24060631
Date and Time of Incident: between 6/7/24 & 6/8/24
Location of Incident: 205 W 3rd St
Brief Narrative: On 6/8/2024 around 01:50 Officers responded to a burglary call at 205 W 3rd St. Victim reported someone entered her store and stole $2,300. Video was reviewed showing someone entering the building and removing cameras. Case is under investigation.

Offender: Adak Anthony Derkeng Majack

Location of Incident: Hwy 30 & E Capital Ave
Brief Narrative: On 06/09/2024, Officers would attempt to conduct a traffic stop on a silver Chevrolet Impala in reference to a disturbance near the intersection of 1st St and Walnut St. The Impala would fail to stop and flee from Law Enforcement continuing eastbound on 1st St past Plum St. The traffic stop would be discontinued. Another Officer would attempt to conduct a traffic stop on the Impala near Shady Bend Rd and Highway 30. The Impala would again fail to stop and flee from Law Enforcement. This traffic stop would also be discontinued. An Officer would continue to travel eastbound on Highway 30 and would turn onto Capital Ave E. A male would flag down Officers and point in the direction of the offending vehicle, which was parked on a gravel road north of the train tracks. A felony stop would then be conducted. Commands would be given and the occupants would exit the vehicle and be detained by Officers. The driver of the vehicle would be identified as Adak Anthony Derkeng Majack. Adak would have bloodshot watery eyes and would emit an odor of alcohol. Adak would consent to a standardized field sobriety test and would show signs of impairment. Adak would then be read the preliminary breath test advisement form. Adak would consent to a Preliminary breath test and would show a failing result. It would also be discovered that Adak was operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license status. Adak would be placed under arrest for Operate Motor Vehicle/Avoid Arrest-Felony, Operate Motor Vehicle/Avoid ArrestFelony, DUI-Alcohol-2nd Offense, and Drive During Revocation/Impound-1st

Victim: 26 year old female Incident #: L24060714
Date and Time of Incident: 6/8/24 @ 22:00
Location of Incident: 3121 North Front St; Apt 12
Brief Narrative: On 06/08/2024 Officers responded to 3121 North Front St in response to an assault. Upon arriving the reporting party was spoken to, and reported that the suspect hit her with his vehicle and drove away. She felt pain and marks were observed on the victim’s left leg. This case is currently active /open.

Brief Narrative: On 06-09-2024 at approximately 0016 hours, officers responded to 624 N Webb Rd, Dominos in reference to an assault. A customer identified by his Minnesota driver's license got into a physical fight with an employee identified by his Nebraska driver's license. During the physical altercation, the customer would grab the victim by the neck causing the inability to breath.

Location of Incident: 731 S Blaine St
Brief Narrative: On 06-08-2024 at approximately 10:10 hours a belated report of a criminal trespassing was dispatched to 731 S Blaine St. where the homeowner reports suspect entered her residence through a doggy door without her permission. He was previously advised he was trespassed from the property on 05-31-2023. This incident was observed through live security footage. While investigating this incident, it was discovered an altercation occurred between the suspect and his girlfriend and a friend who was over to visit. He would push a female friend out of the way to get to his girlfriend and then took his girlfriend’s phone. Suspect’s girlfriend and friend would yell at him who eventually fled from the home with a pink Apple Iphone 15 plus, with case and screen protector valued at $1000. Case is open.
