Offense: Child Abuse Incident # L26030147

Location of Incident: Grand Island Residence
Brief Narrative: On 03/02/2026 officers contacted Krista Leimser at First Light Child Advocacy Center regarding a related issue. Krista was observed operating a motor vehicle, with her child in the car prior to arriving to the CAC. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that Krista was under the influence of cannabis and unable to safely operate a motor vehicle or adequately care for her child, whom was in her immediate care. Krista was placed under arrest and booked into Hall County Corrections without incident.

Offense: Terroristic Threats Incident # L26030240
Victim: 23 yr old male, 45 yr old female

Location of Incident: S Pine St
Brief Narrative: On 03/03/2026 officers responded to a residence on S Pine St, regarding a threatening call for service. The reporting party advised she received a phone call from an unknown number who threatened them. Case is still under investigation.

Brief Narrative: On 03/03/2026 at 1918 hrs officers took a report of a sexual assault that took place in the city limits of Grand Island.
