Offense: Assault
Victim: 5 yr old female, 38 yr old female Incident #: L24110917
Offender: 12 year old male
Date and Time of Incident: 11/12/24 @ 11:26
Location of Incident: 4111 W 13th St
Brief Narrative: Reporting Party with Skills Academy requested assistance with the Offender for causing a disruption in the school during a re-entry meeting. Offender was failing to comply with any directions from school staff, screaming, cursing, throwing office chairs and trashcans. Offender was given multiple warnings to leave the school but refused. Offender was escorted out of the building. It was later discovered the Offender had assaulted his Probation Officer and his mother while in the meeting. Offender was contacted again by Officers to be detained, but he fled from Officers. Officers gave several loud verbal commands to stop fleeing, but he refused. Offender was eventually caught, handcuffed, and transported to LEC. Offender was eventually transported to emergent Foster Care after Juvenile Probation completed a juvenile intake. The juvenile male was arrested for 3rd Degree Assault on an Officer and Resisting Arrest.

Location of Incident: 2124 Lafayette Ave
Brief Narrative: A juvenile male student at Grand Island Senior High Skills Academy took control of a school's two-way radio and transmitted that there was an intruder in the building. This caused the staff at Grand Island Senior High to begin looking for a possible intruder and nearly put the school into a lockdown status. It was quickly determined that the radio call was caused by a student playing with the radio and no threat to the safety of the school was present. The student was contacted and admitted to making the radio transmission. He was issued a citation for terroristic threats and released to his mother.

Offense: Identity Theft
Victim: 53 yr old female Incident #: L24110944
Date and Time of Incident: between 10/2/24 & 11/12/24
Location of Incident: 3732 Norseman Ave
Brief Narrative: Victim came to the police station to report someone without her knowledge or permission used her personal identification information to open account with a phone service. The suspect then purchased two cellular phones and picked them up in another jurisdiction in Nebraska. Case is open.
