Offense: Terroristic Threats
Victim: Grand Island Public Schools Incident #: L24090882
Offender: 17 year old female
Date and Time of Incident: 9/11/24 @ 12:35
Location of Incident: 2124 Lafayette Ave
Brief Narrative: GISH administration were receiving reports from concerned parents about a lockdown at the school. Parents of students were attempting to pull their kid from the school
due to the possible lockdown. There was no active incident at GISH causing a lockdown. A GISH staff member was later provided a screenshot of the Offender's Snapchat account in which the student claimed to be hiding in the bathroom due to an active lockdown. The Offender posted it to their story allowing all friends of the Offender on Snapchat to view the picture. Student Offender was contacted and made admissions to posting the story. Parent of Offender was contacted. Offender was given school consequences per GIPS policy and released to the Parent. Female juvenile will be referred to the County Attorney’s Office for Terroristic Threats.

Offense: Forgery
Victim: 70 year old female Incident #: L24090894
Date and Time of Incident: between 8/1/24 & 9/11/24
Location of Incident: 234 Shady Bend Rd S
Brief Narrative: On 9-11-2024 at or around 1500 hrs, an Officer responded to the police department in reference to a Fraud call for service. It was reported a known individual withdrew approximately $850 from an account without permission from the account holder. Case is open.
