Brief Narrative: Officers responded to 1104 Kennedy Dr. regarding a disturbance between Bruce Davis and Jon Davis (brothers). It was determined that Bruce brandished a replica firearm at Jon and Jon threatened to beat up Bruce.

Offense: Vehicle Theft

Offender: Michael Van Boening

Location of Incident: 3812 Old Hwy 30
Brief Narrative: On 11/06/2025 officers took a report of a stolen vehicle from 3812 W Old Hwy 30 in Grand Island, NE. Officers later located the vehicle, where Michael Van Boening was located inside the same vehicle that was previously reported stolen. Michael was observed exiting the vehicle and walking past a "No Trespassing" sign located at 5017 S Blaine St. Michael was also observed on camera driving into the same location. Michael was arrested for:

2nd Degree Trespassing [28-521] III MO
Driving during Suspension 3rd offense [60-4,108] II MO

Offense: Burglary
Victim: 55 yr old male Incident #: L25110597
Date and Time of Incident: 11/6/25 @ 22:15
Location of Incident: 4040 Cannon Rd
Brief Narrative: Officers investigated a burglary to a detached garage at 4040 Cannon Rd. Where a subject entered the garage through a closed door and took a Yeti Cooler that the subject filled with steaks from the victim’s deep freezer. The suspect in this case was contacted and found with three mini coca cola cans in his pockets, also from the garage. The suspect was released as the victim did not wish to pursue charges in this case.

Location of Incident: W 13th ST & North Rd
Brief Narrative: On 11/6/2025 a juvenile was contacted after absconding from GIPS property. Juvenile was currently in a 48 hour DHHS hold for the State of Nebraska. The juvenile was running in traffic on 13th St. when he was contacted. When the juvenile male was detained from running in traffic, the juvenile used the back of his head to hit the detaining Officer three times in the face. The juvenile was taken to the Law Enforcement Center.
