Driver Dennis Barkley was contacted in the Sonic parking lot after he was called in believed to be under the influence after acting strangely. When officers contacted him, he was sitting in the driver’s seat and the vehicle was parked but turned on. A record check showed his driver's license was suspended with seven prior convictions. He was placed under arrest and a search of his person found syringes. A tow was called for his vehicle, and an inventory search was done. A white crystal-like substance believed to be meth was found along with a scale and small plastic baggies. Based on the officer’s training and experience these items are used in the sale of controlled substances.

Brief Narrative: It was reported that a 11-year-old female reported she was sexually assaulted by her father approximately 3 years ago while on visits. Case under investigation.
