Offense: Wanted Person / Drugs
Victim: Incident #: L25022290
Offender: Arnulfo Sanchez
Date and Time of Incident: 2/26/25 @ 16:46
Location of Incident: 2004 N Wheeler Ave; Apt 7D
Brief Narrative: Arnulfo Sanchez was contacted while investigating suspicious activity at the door of an apartment. During this investigation, it was discovered that Sanchez had a warrant for his arrest regarding a Nebraska State Parole violation. While taking Sanchez into custody he resisted handcuffing and had to be forcefully detained and handcuffed by three officers. While securing Sanchez’ property, a backpack in his possession was inventoried and schedule IV controlled prescription substances were located outside of an assigned/labeled bottle, as well as some THC wax. Sanchez was arrested for the Parole Violation Warrant, Resisting Arrest, Possession Marijuana less than an oz (Wax) and Possession of Controlled Substance Schedule IV.

Offender: Shannon Eads

Location of Incident: E Phoenix & S Pine St
Brief Narrative: Officers informed of an Attention Units, where an intoxicated female had attempted to purchase alcohol. The purchase was denied and the female left. The plate to the car was provided and the car was seen driving on Bismark. A traffic stop was initiated after a traffic infraction was observed. Upon contact the female, Shannon Eads, had an odor of alcoholic beverage, slowed/slurred speech, and bloodshot watery eyes. SFST's were attempted but stopped due to her hesitation and safety purposes. Shannon eventually submitted to a PBT with a result of FAIL. She was transported to SFMC for medical clearance and legal blood draw. Once cleared and draw was complete, she was transported to HCC. A driver's history provided that she has 3 prior DUI convictions within the last 15 years. She was booked for DUI 4th offense.

Offense: Sexual Assault
Victim: 16 yr old female Incident #: L25022299
Date and Time of Incident: between 2/20/25 & 2/26/25
Location of Incident: Within City Limits
Brief Narrative: On 2/26/25 at approximately 1900 officers responded to the report of a juvenile female being sexually assaulted in Grand Island. Case is Open.
