GI Baseball Splits Mid-Week Matchups

The Grand Island baseball team was able to hit the diamond in Grand Island and Omaha for two mid-week games. The Islanders would split the two contests hosting Lincoln Pius X on Wednesday at Ryder Park winning against the Thunderbolts 3-1. Thursday Grand Island traveled to Omaha South falling to the Packers by a score of 3-0. Grand Island is now 13-6 on the season. The next action for GI will be a trip to Omaha Central on Saturday, April 20th. The first pitch is set for 11:00 am.
