Dan Schleusener files as Republican for Buffalo County Sheriff

Today, Dan Schleusener, the current Chief Deputy for the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, officially filed to run  for the office of Buffalo County Sheriff as a Republican candidate. His filing follows Sheriff Neil Miller’s decision to retire at the end of this current term.

A 24-year veteran of public safety, Schleusener has dedicated his career to law enforcement — including the past 18 years serving the citizens of Buffalo County.

“Today, I am both honored and humbled to file as a Republican candidate for Buffalo County Sheriff. The citizens of Buffalo County have deservedly grown accustomed to a professional, well trained Sheriff’s Office under the distinguished and dedicated leadership of Neil Miller. Rest assured, that professional, compassionate, and dedicated public service will continue if you choose to elect me as your next Buffalo County Sheriff.”
