CCC-Grand Island welding technology building ribbon cutting
GRAND ISLAND - Central Community College in Grand Island unveiled its new welding technology building with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday.
Over 200 people attended the event on campus to see the new state of the art building. The 12,500-square-foot facility houses 48 multi-process booths, 16 oxy-acetylene welding stations, two classrooms, a state-of-the-art ventilation system, and a dedicated grinding room. The project cost was $5.75 million. Construction began in September 2024.
