Bahl Wins Second Straight Weekly Award

Nebraska softball pitcher Jordyn Bahl was named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced on Monday.
Across three appearances and 14.0 innings pitched this week, Bahl allowed zero earned runs and only three hits. She claimed wins against Omaha and in the first game against Purdue while compiling an ERA of 0.00. The Papillion, Neb., native struck out 26 batters in her three appearances, including a season-high 13 at Omaha. She now has four double-digit strikeout games on the year. Bahl also grabbed a save in the second game against Purdue. Through all three games, her opponents had a .070 batting average. She has not allowed an earned run in 22.1 innings pitched.
Michigan’s Jenissa Conway was named the Player of the Week, while Oregon’s Stefini Ma’ake and UCLA’s Addisen Fisher were Co-Freshmen of the Week.
NU will close out its series with Purdue tonight at 4 p.m. (CT). The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network and can be heard across the Huskers Radio Network.
