Aurora BB Visits Milford

The Aurora basketball teams visit Milford as part of a new scheduling cycle tonight. 

The girls' teams met last year with the Huskies knocking off the Eagles 59-51 in perhaps their best win of the season. Aurora has won four in a  row to improve to 6-5. Kenna Merrihew and Kaitlin Staehr are each averaging eight points a game to lead the Huskies. 

Milford is one of the top teams in C1. The Eagles (10-1) are averaging a 31 point victory every time they take the floor. Concordia University recruit Ayla Roth is averaging 18 points a game. 

The Aurora boys play Milford for the first time in regular season play in at least a decade. The 9-2 Huskies are led by Booker Sheierman, who is averaging 16 point sand 13 rebounds a game. Cannon Allen is putting 14 a contest. Ryan Staehr is averaging 11. 

The Eagles (3-7) are led by Landon Roth who is scoring 10 points a game.
