Aurora BB Sweeps Hastings

The Aurora basketball teams continued their winning ways by taking a pair at Hastings on Tuesday.

The girls trailed 7-0 after four minutes before holding the Tigers to three points the rest of the half in a 39-24 win. Kaitlyn Staehr scored 15. Evelyn Kraus added 10 for the Huskies. 

The Aurora boys used a 12-2 runs early in the second quarter to grab the lead and never trailed again in a 57-47 victory. Cannon Allen scored 14 of his 16 in the second half. Jaxson Slagle added 15. Ryan Staehr contributed 10. 

Aurora hosts Milford for a 5pm double header Thursday. Next coverage will be Saturday at O'Neill with the pregame at 1:15 on 97.3 the Wolf.
