Offense: Sexual Assault of a Child
Victim: 11 year old female Incident #: L24082700
Offender: Wilfredo Paxtor Hernandez
Date and Time of Incident: between 9/17/16 and 8/30/24
Location of Incident: Within City Limits
Brief Narrative: A 11 year old juvenile reported that over the course of 7 years while living in Grand Island, the step-father repeatedly sexually assaulted the juvenile in the first degree. Hernandez was arrested for 1st Degree Sexual Assault of A Child.

Offender: Adrian Garcia
Date and Time of Incident: 8/30/24 @ 05:50
Location of Incident: 555 S Stuhr Rd
Brief Narrative: At approximately 0700 8/30/24, Officers responded to 555 Stuhr Rd S; JBS Swift. A male reported while riding his bike to work, he was struck by a vehicle, which did not stop and the driver did not render aid. Police received no other reports of an accident. The male had injury to his left shoulder to include an abrasion to his arm and back and complained of injury limiting use of his arm without pain. Officers located the victim's spilled red juice drink and container at the scene of the accident along with broken glass consistent with a vehicle's mirror at 605 S Stuhr Rd. A vehicle was located at JBS Swift parking lot with the same red juice drink on the side of the vehicle and the passenger's mirror was broke. The glass from the scene matched the glass of the vehicle. Officers observed broken glass from the mirror inside the vehicle and an impact mark on the window where the mirror had struck the window. The mirror appeared to have been pushed back out to its original position. Based on the damage to the mirror, the manipulation of the mirror and the glass inside the cab of the vehicle, it was determined the driver would have been aware of striking someone. The driver was identified as Adrian Garcia. Adrian admitted to being the sole occupant and driver at the time of the accident, although denied knowing he was involved in an accident and that he had struck and injured an individual. He was arrested for Fail to Stop & Render Aid/No Serious
Injury.

Date and Time of Incident: between 8/22/24 & 8/30/24
Location of Incident: 3490 Ewoldt St
Brief Narrative: On 08/30/2024 Officers responded to 3490 Ewoldt St; Tabitha Nursing Home in reference to a theft. The reporting party advised that someone had taken a bottle of Morphine Sulfate that was intended for a resident at Tabitha Nursing Home. The reporting party also stated that the Morphine had not been documented and charted correctly by an employee. Case is under investigation.

Location of Incident: Hwy 30 & S Stuhr Rd
Brief Narrative: On 08/31/2024 Officers responded to US Highway 30 E and Stuhr Rd; Pump and Pantry in reference to a Chevy Silverado that was reported to have been all over the roadway. Upon locating the Silverado at Pump and Pantry a traffic stop was initiated. Upon initiating the traffic lights the Silverado accelerated at a high rate of speed between fuel pumps and pedestrians. Officers observed the Silverado accelerate at a high rate of speed onto Highway 30 and fail to stop at a red light. The traffic stop was discontinued. The Silverado was later located with a male inside. The male was transported to the police department where he showed impairment on SFSTs and provided a failing PBT sample. The male was placed under arrest for DUI 1st Offense, Reckless Driving, No Operator License and Felony Flight To Avoid

Offender: Wiyual Mut Tip

Location of Incident: 724 W 2nd St
Brief Narrative: On 08/31/2024, Officers responded to 724 2nd St W; Africa Mart in reference to a possible intoxicated driver inside of a red Hyundai. Contact was made with a male who was in actual physical control of the motor vehicle. The male provided Officers with a false name and was later identified through his Nebraska identification card as Wiyual Mut Tip. Wiyual would admit to operating his vehicle prior to contact with Officers. An administrative records check showed that Wiyual was a suspended driver. Wiyual was asked to exit the vehicle to conduct a standardized field sobriety test. Wiyual lost balance exiting the vehicle and initially performed the first portion of testing. Wiyual would then not continue with testing. Officers then read Wiyual the preliminary breath test advisement form. Wiyual would refuse to provide a sample of his breath. Officers attempted to place Wiyual under arrest. Wiyual then resisted Officers by not allowing Officers to place handcuffs on him. During this Wiyual would extend his palm out and strike an Officer in the face causing discomfort. Wiyual was taken to the ground and Officers would be able to secure him in handcuffs. Wiyual was taken to a patrol vehicle. Wiyual then began kicking at Officers and would not get inside the vehicle. EMS tended to Wiyual, once finished Wiyual was transported to St. Francis Medical center for a medical clearance. Wiyual was medically cleared and later transported to HCC. A criminal history records check would show Wiyual to have a previous conviction of resisting arrest, and three prior previous convictions for DUI. Wiyual Mut Tip arrested for DUI-alcohol-4th Offense, DUI of Alcoholic Liquor/Drugs; Preliminary Breath Test; Refusal; Penalty, Refuse to Submit to Test-1st offense, Resist Arrest2nd/subsequent offense, Assault Officer Cr/Health Care Professional-3rd degree, Obstruct a Peace Officer, False Reporting – misdemeanor & Drive During Revocation/Impound-2nd/3rd.

Brief Narrative: A juvenile male was arrested after he attempted to make a video of his juvenile sister in a state of undress. This incident took place within the city limits of Grand Island. Juvenile male arrested for Unlawful Intrusion by Photo or Video.

Offense: Terroristic Threats

Offender: Malachi Jones

Location of Incident: 2004 N Wheeler, Apt 6G
Brief Narrative: Malachi Jones took substantial steps to commit terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony by picking up a knife and walking several blocks toward the victim's location before he located the victim driving by him. Malachi admitted his intention in walking to the victim was to pull the knife out and threaten to stab the victim. Malachi has been convicted of a felony in Hall County in February 2023 (CR22-784). Malachi was cited  for Attempted Terroristic Threats, Attempted Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person.

Brief Narrative: A traffic stop was attempted near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and South Street with a white Pontiac Grand Prix. The driver of the vehicle accelerated and fled in a willful reckless manner with other motorist on the roadway. A suspect has been identified and the case is currently under investigation.

Brief Narrative: On 09/02/2024 at approximately 0335 hours, Officers responded to an address in reference to a sexual assault. The victim does not want to pursue criminal charges.

Location of Incident: 316 E 6th St
Brief Narrative: On 09/01/2024 around 2119 hrs, officers were detailed to a hit and run accident. The vehicle was located in the area of Court St and Pine St. Alfredo Valdez- Ramirez was contacted as the sole occupant of the vehicle. Alfredo initially provided false personal identifying information and document to law enforcement. Alfredo showed indicators of impairment and was placed under arrest for Criminal Impersonation, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and DUI +.15 1st Offense.

Offender: Alfrado Garcia

Location of Incident: 307 W 9th
Brief Narrative: On 09-01-2024 at approximately 2202 hours, officers made contact with a male who was identified as Alfrado Garcia. Alfrado admitted to kicking his father down the steps of the front porch causing pain. Alfrado refused to give his name to officers and listening to commands. Afrado threatened officers with violence while booking him into Hall County Department of Corrections. Alfrado Garcia was arrested for Assault 3rd, Obstruct a Peace Officer & Terroristic Threats.

Brief Narrative: On 09-01-2024 at approximately 11:47 hours a disturbance was dispatched where a juvenile male broke multiple large glass pain windows, put multiple holes in the walls and broke interior doors. Juvenile male was cited for Assault menacing threats 3rd & Criminal mischief $5000.

Brief Narrative: On 09/02/2024, Officers responded to 2222 Bellwood Dr. Apt.30 in reference to a burglary and female being assaulted.

Brief Narrative: On 09/01/2024 Officers arrived at 1602 2nd St W; Super Saver in reference to counterfeit currency. The reporting party advised that a female had attempted to pay with what appeared to be a counterfeit $100 dollar bill. Officers reviewed pictures of the bill and did not see any signs of forgery. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 1111 North Front St
Brief Narrative: On 9/3/2024 at approximately 0413 hours, Officers observed Jordan Ibal Gonzalez walking eastbound on North Front St. near 1111 W North Front St. Jordan was identified by Officers from prior police contacts. Jordan was wanted for fleeing in a vehicle from two separate traffic stops on 9/1/2024. Jordan was arrested for Flight to Avoid Arrest – Flny, Flight to Avoid Arrest – Misd, Prohibited Lane Change & Fail to Use Turn Signal.

Victim: 28 year old female Incident #: L24090133
Offender: Kaylee Gordon
Date and Time of Incident: 9/2/24 @ 18:54
Location of Incident: 380 N Walnut
Brief Narrative: On 09/02/2024, Officers responded to 380 Walnut St N in reference to a threatening call for service. Contact was made with the reporting party and owner of Belleza y Estilo LLC. The owner advised that a female entered the store and began asking for money. It was advised that the female became aggressive and began swinging at the owner with an open palm. It was provided that the female did strike the owner in her right cheek, however the owner advised of no pain. The owner of the store advised that she unlocked the tip box to appease the female as she felt the female would resort to violence to get the money. The owner estimated $6 was taken from the tip box. The owner then left the store and went into a nearby store to call Police. Officers were provided a picture of the female from a camera of an adjoining store. Officers were able to identify the female from previous contacts as Kaylee Gordon. Officers later contacted Kaylee at the intersection of 5th St and Walnut St. Kaylee would deflect Officers questions about the incident. During contact with Kaylee she was also found to be in possession of an open alcoholic container. Kaylee was placed under arrest for Robbery and Possess/Consume Open Alcohol Container.
