2026 State Wrestling Semifinals/Heartbreak Round Results

The Final Round of Friday's State Wrestling Tournament action better known as the Semifinals and Heartbreak are in the books from the CHI Health Center in Omaha.

3 Area Wrestlers will be competing for A State Title in their respective weight classes while 11 more are bringing home guaranteed medals ranging from 3rd to 6th place.

Competing for State Championships tomorrow are

A106 - Riley Pedersen(42-3) of Grand Island vs. Terrence Crawford(35-6) of Omaha North

C120 - Rylan Rasmussen(45-5) of St. Paul vs Philip Streff(43-4) of North Bend Central

C175 - Alex Meinecke(48-0) of St. Paul vs Cobe Wells(43-4) of Broken Bow

The 11 Other Area Medalists guaranteed to finish anywhere from 3rd to 6th Place are:

State Wrestling will resume Saturday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.

Consolation Semifinals will start at 9am sharp followed by 3rd and 5th Place Medal rounds.
